Jeremy Chouinard

Jeremy's life has been a journey shaped by service, adventure, and a deep connection to the great outdoors. Born at Williams Air Force Base, he spent his childhood moving around the world with his family, instilling in him a sense of resilience and adaptability. At 18, he followed in his father's footsteps and joined the Army Reserve, traveling the globe and broadening his horizons. In 2008, he returned to his family's ancestral land, where he and his wife raised their two daughters and cultivated a passion for nature, gardening, and the beauty of the natural world. Today, Spruce Mountain Cannabis thrives on this same land, which has been in Jeremy's family since 1956. Alongside his daughters and business partner, Jeremy tenderly crafts premium cannabis products, surrounded by the pampered animals that call the farm home. His dedication to quality and love for the land shines through in every aspect of Spruce Mountain Cannabis.​

Jon Hilyard

After dedicating years to serving his country in the Navy, Navy Reserve, and Army National Guard, Jon traded his military uniform in for a chef's coat and moved to Vermont in 2017 to pursue his passion for cooking. However, his journey took an unexpected turn when he joined forces with Jeremy on the family farm on Spruce Mountain in Plainfield. Alongside his best friend and business partner, Jon discovered a new sense of purpose in regenerating the land, building rich topsoil, cultivating vibrant pastures, and creating thriving wildlife habitats. He is deeply grateful for the support of his community, which has enabled him to flourish in his new calling as a steward of the land.
